I'm taking and Adolescent Psych course. My professor feels that studying education ethics and law would be time better spent so she is devoting some of our time to that. <br /> <br /> Her reasoning is that psychologists are employed by the school district to handle problems based in psychology. Teachers don't need to know a whole course of psych like theories of congnitive development, maturation/puberty, role of families, teen crisis, etc. One course wouldn't equip us to handle those things.
