Rodin Changes Continue

Now, I can have alternating colors on the home page. I used an idea that I had from working with Open Realty. What do you know? The idea worked! I only had to do trial and error a few times and I had everything positioned right where I needed it. It’s a bit of code I could also use to number each entry generated on the home page.

I’ve done a lot of editing to rodin this weekend. The first edit was to include a listing of all the entries inside the admin section. This way, I can edit an entry by clicking on it directly, instead of having to scroll through all the entries with the “BACK” and “NEXT” links. I used the archive toy, essentially just... read more

I’m adding to the listmore function to only show a portion of each of the 5 most current entries. It should only return the first bit of the entry and then put an ellipsis at the end.

There’re still a few bugs in the system, though. I’ll see if I can hunt them down.

Canned Food

This always strikes me as strange. I walk into the store to see stacks and stacks of cans at the ends of each isle. If it’s the soup isle, most of the time cans of certain soup are stacked. But sometimes, it’s the soap isle and I’m being pimped cans of corned-beef hash. Still, no matter where I am in the store, I find those cans to be terribly annoying!
